Las Vegas

We had the privilege of taking a short vacation between Christmas and New Year's. We thought in planning it, that it seemed like a good time of year, since the kids are out of school and in general there's not a whole lot going on.

It was in fact a nice time to be in Las Vegas, and the kids got to spend some quality fun time with their grands!

The problem was coming home! Getting back into the swing of "real life" after Christmas AND vacation AND New Year's was very hard! But it was totally worth it!

There is so much to do and see in Las Vegas, and it's changed a bunch since we were there last! We stayed a the new City Center hotel - Aria. It was very nice! And BIG (as is everything in Vegas)! And I got a TOTALLY wonderful massage at the new Mandarin Oriental Hotel. It was hands down, the best experience I've ever had at a spa! I would go back in a heart beat!

Aria had this cool wall fountain - this is us in front of it!

Yes, that is a pigeon chair I'm sitting in!
